Nature has been the greatest teacher. Growing up in Alaska, she was always their to scold me if I forgot my hat, or beckon me into secret mossy caverns that frightened and excited me. I spent much of my life listening to the forest and in return animal spirits and plant allies came to my aid. I was born with the gift and burden of psychic intuition and have homed in my skill through integrative healing arts training.
As fate would have it, I found myself talking with various spiritual teachers among the Non-Dual spiritual path that inspired a deepened sense of union with source in India and around the world. But much like my studies, I found myself gazing outside over their shoulders towards the mountain that called Ramana Maharshi, or the large Bodhi tree that beckoned Siddartha to come sit under. This is the mystics way, the deep love of nature that calls to us.
With a masters degree in counseling psychology, registered international expressive arts therapist and supervisor, registered yoga teacher (RYT 200), bachelors degree in anthropology from UC Berkeley ~ I spun a web of discipline to inform the art of my mystic practice. But as all mystics know, the real work begins when you start to listen.
